Your Garmin chart plotter has the ability to display a lot of useful information but you may not know it can also store and display all of your boat's manuals for quick electronic reference.
To get started, first download all the manuals of interest to your PC in PDF format. Organize and rename the files as you would like them to appear as depicted below.
Now remove the SD or MicroSD card from the back of your chart plotter. Insert the card in your computer (you may need an adapter for MicroSD cards) and copy the PDF files to the GARMIN directory in a subdirectory called MANUALS. You can view the manuals by going to Info and Owner's Manuals. (You may need to scroll to the bottom of the menu options.)
Highlight the manual and choose Open.
Load other PDF's like fishing regulations.
